Regional swap card

Boy I must be ambitious here is another swap for the Stampin' Up regional on Friday.

What I did was stamped the beehive enlarged it on my printer and traced it on the Really Rust card stock. The stamp set is the same one I used for the card I posted a few days ago. The sentiment is from Oval All one of the set that I really like.

Tomorrow is the first day of Stampin' Up Occasion Mini Catalog. It has many great stamp sets.

Paper Garden Project Challenge

I have decided to try a challenge from Paper Garden Project. The challenge I choose was from Birthday Blog Bash week 2. For this challenge, your entry has to have a flower on it somewhere ( card, scrapbook page ,or 3d item). This is my first time I have done a challenge so we will see what happens. The challenge is do today March 30 so here goes.

My card is a combination of Stampin' Up and K&Company products. I love flowers so this was a fun challenge for me.

Regionals and Card Talk

If you are someone who has never used Stampin' Up products you should try them. The card stock is thicker and great for cards or projects. If you are making boxes or any kind of container the paper is able to hold what you put in them.

This card I used the stamp set God's Beauty from the level 1 Hostess sets. The set also has a pretty butterfly witch I will show the card I used it on in the next posting. I love using the Designer Series Papers and the one I used here is Bella Rose. The Punches are the 3" Scallop Circle, 2" Circle from Marvy. The two brads are corduroy. One idea to make brads that are with fabric is the build your own buttons that you can buy from Jo Ann Fabrics or any fabric shop that carries buttons and accessories.

I am posting a couple of cards today here is one of my favorite stamps set from Stampin' Up it is so springy. The stamp set is called Just Buzzin By, it has three bees the honey pot and a cute bee hive. The Paper is from the Designer Series Tea Party a nice Springy feel to it. Yesterday I went to the art store Dick Blick and bought some Copic markers and I love them this the first time that I enjoy using markers. The go on smooth and do not show lines when you back over a spot. This card I did not use Copic with I just use some cheap markers that I had. I also just purchased some of the Stampin' Up markers too. Like I said I didn't like the effect I got with markers so most of the time I use the blender pens with the ink pads. Stampin' Up markers are nice too so I can't wait to use them too.

I am getting excited for the Stampin' Up Regional in April. I have been a Stampin' Up demonstrator since Sept. 2008. The picture above is the swap that I decide to make. It is a 3x3 card holder, 2 3x3, and 2 mini cards to go with the holder. I use the Oval All stamp set and punch from the Occasions mini catalog that starts Wed. April, the Yummy set from Sale-a-Bration catalog. After stamping the pieces I punch them out with the scallop oval punch. The card stock I used is from the designer series Parisian Breeze and baja breeze. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do for the swap.
