Penny Black

It's Penny Black's Birthday, they are a year old. The challenge is to make card or project for a celebration. I saw this tea pot when I was browsing on Splitcoaststampers site. The directions and template is at Card Carousel. I thought this tea pot would be perfect with Penny Black Mice in tea cup stamp. The paper is from Stampin' UP and K&Company. The card I punch out two scallop circles and used a brad to create a card. The tea pot opens to put a gift in off tea or anything you would like. So Happy Birthday Penny Black!

There are two templates, one that shows the actual card size and the arch template. I linked it below. The image is from PC Crafter Peek-a- Boo colored with Copic and Marvey markers. The paper is from K&Company by Brenda Walton called Madeline. The flowers are from a punch, ribbon and eyelet are from my stash. I really like the challenges from The Next Level. If you have never been to there blog check it out here. There is a lot of information.

Mojo Monday

Close up of Metallic on the toaster.

A whole week went by without me making any cards. WOW! I have been busy with my son. He has Cerebral Palsy and we had to cast his legs to help stretch his muscles. He grew 3" in 4 months a lot. Cerebral Palsy effects the muscles so they have to be stretched and exercised every day to help with growth.

On to my first card challenge of the day MoJo Monday #91. I got out my Penny Black stamps out
and stamp this cute mice with toaster. The image is colored with copic, Marvey and metallic silver on the toaster. The paper is by K&Company, flower is punched out, and the eyelet from the stash I have. The metallic make the toaster look almost real.

I colored her with Copic and Marvey markers. the paper is from the Wild Raspberry collection I have from K&Company. The tiles eyelets and the surprise sign is from my stash.

Friday Sketchers

This card I made is for the Friday Sketcher challenge 54. make a shape card. Since I do not have any nestabilities I drew my own shape and printed it out on card stock. The paper is Wild Raspberry by K&Company and the solid color card stock is the Brazill. The image is from the digi stamp collection Gingersnap Celebration by C.C. Designs at All that Scraps. The olive green color card stock I hand drew the shape and cut out the middle oval so I would look like the girl is sitting on the ledge. I used Chocolate Chip Ink from Stampin' Up and sponged the edges of all the card stock. The pearls and flowers are from my stash and the sentiment is from Stampendous.

The Next Level

The Next Level has lunched there blog yesterday June 1 it is a
magazine style read designed to be more than a weekly Challenge blog, but a meeting place for all of us to dip into and out of during the week to try out new ideas, tutorials, hints and tips and downloads in addition to the weekly Challenge.

The first challenge is make some sort of cut out any where on your card.Plus we are to add hand made faux Prima Lollipop flower, as I don't have a lot of the materials on the tutorial I only made it with paper, no glittery materials or nothing. The image is Jenna by My heart Stamps for you, I colored her with Copic and Marvy markers. The paper is Wild Raspberry by K&Company. I hand cut out the window opening because I do not have a Big Shot or Cricut. I am still deciding wich cutting system I want.

Truly Scrumptious

The Challenge is to make a card that has more than one fold. I choose tri-fold card with the first fold at 4" and the second at91/4". I borrowed this stamp from a friend of mine. The stamp is called Kelly Jo from My heart Stamps for You. She is colored with Copic and Marvy markers. The papers are from Stampin' Up and Brazill. The paper flowers are vellum and some are punched out of the papers.
I added pearls on the front and inside for the flower middles. The butterflies already had glitter on them so I didn't have to glitter them. I found them at Michael's $1.00 spot. Its amazing what you can find for a dollar.
